Important Recycling Collection Information for Labor Day
Due to Labor Day falling on Monday, September 7,2015 there will be no recycling collection that day. However, recyclingwill be collected on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Please call the Departmentof Public Works at 609-799-0099 if you have any questions.

Plainsboro 9/11 Memorial Observance Ceremony – September 11, 2015
The Mayor and Township Committee members will lay awreath in a tribute of remembrance and honor to those who lost their lives inthe terror attacks of September 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center site, the United Airlines Flight 93 crash site near Shanksville, Pa., and at the Pentagon.
The ceremony will be held on September 11, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. outside of the municipal building at the Plainsboro Township memorial site. The Township Committee, Police Department, Volunteer Fire Department, and Volunteer First Aid Squad will be in attendance.
In the event of inclement weather, the memorial will beheld inside the municipal building on the main level near the World TradeCenter steel previously dedicated from the Port Authority of New York/NewJersey.
The ceremony is open to all members of the communitywho wish to attend.
The Township Committee is accepting applications from citizens who would like toserve on the Zoning Board of Adjustment as a volunteer.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment was established by ordinance to hear appeals for variation from the zoning ordinance and occasionally reviews applications fordevelopment. Members serve four year terms and alternates serve two year terms.
Meetings are typically held at 7:30 pm, the 1st Wednesday of each month in theMunicipal Building except when noted.
